Worst Agent EVER!!! I tried switching from Geico to State Farm in early 2000.. I was accepted, paid in full (for 6 months) then less than 30 days in Canceled (to receive a 70% refund) no infractions mind you just a letter & check in the mail... Well I wound up keeping Geico (20yrs later due an expired cc while away on vacation my policy expired) I renewed upon my return to a much higher rate. So I again sought out State Farm... an low and behold THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN FROM THE SAME AGENT!!!!!
I was a customer that always paid his bill each month, and has felt manipulated into initially signing up thinking that my price for my insurance was going to stay the same each month or at least close whenever insurace increases would fluctuate. I have accepted multiple times quite large price increases on my policy, but the one that brought my bill to almost 200 dollars a month was the last straw. When I called in the women seemed rushed to bring me off the phone and wasnt real specific in breaking down why my insurance went up so drastically high. I received a rather generic remark in terms of oh everyone's prices were raised, by $30+? Somehow, I feel like they almost looked at me as an at risk driver based on how likely they feel id get into an accident which is why they rose the price unfair and unjustly. Or they somehow found somthing related with my driving history that gave them the leeway or bias to raise the price. I been in no accidents, drive 10-18k miles a year since I work a remote job, and been paying. If this is how State Farm treats a once loyal and responsible customer I definitely will never go back to them. They will give you a rate at around or a bit over 100 when you sign up then keep raising the price all the way until it hits 200 or close to it, wish I could tell you why. I defintely made the right choice, I got the same exact coverage with my new provider for HALF the cost!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS Despite their claims that they have repeatedly attempted to mail a refund for a cancelled policy, I have still not received anything. It has been 8 months since the policy was cancelled! They are also unwilling to consider any other refund methods besides a check in the mail that has no tracking, aka no evidence that they've taken action. I have reached out to them multiple times to try to resolve this but it is still unresolved. At this point I don't think I'll ever get my money back.
My car windshield was cracked by a garbage truck on the highway. They refused to take care of it. Thankfully this office was my local office and Mendy the manager and Wildalys the agent was very nice and responsive. They sent the repair company to my house to take care of it and made sure to send them back to check on the work that was done. Best manager and agent that I have had an experience with. They are absolutely amazing. Thank you guys now I feel super safe in my car. Also shoutout out to Super Auto Glass for an amazing work

This morning she finished my transaction, got my temp insurance card e mailed to me and all with NO attitude! Love my State Farm Agent! Teresa M
